Legacy & Bequests
You can create a legacy of a lifetime by putting your philanthropic plans in place now.
There are many options available to contribute to a healthier community for future generations and to celebrate the safe and compassionate care that Osler’s hospitals add to the vitality of your community.
Legacy Giving can allow you to:
- Make a significant contribution to a cause you believe in
- Make a gift that continues giving after you have passed on
- Gain valuable credits on your final estate income tax return
- Be recognized for your generosity and philanthropy
The assets you hold today can provide for the generations of tomorrow. Let us help you find the Legacy Gift that makes sense for you. Consult with your accountant, lawyer or financial planner to discuss which method is best for you.
Bequests
A charitable bequest is a gift made in your Will. In addition to remembering your family and friends, you can use your Will to make a charitable bequest to an organization in which you believe. You can name William Osler Health System Foundation as the direct beneficiary of specific assets, a portion of your estate or the residue of your estate. A bequest is also a valuable tax asset. Should you decide to pursue this option, please advise us so that we may plan for your gift and ensure your recognition.
