PCL Constructors Canada (PCL) has proven they believe in supporting the communities where they do business, with a generous $50,000 donation to the new Peel Memorial.
“We are extremely grateful to call PCL a partner in our fundraising for Peel Memorial,” said Maureen Sheahan, VP of Philanthropy at Osler Foundation. “PCL has been a strong supporter of health care for a long time, and we feel fortunate to be among those who have benefited from its generosity.”
PCL was the design builder for the new 585,000 sq. ft. Peel Memorial, employing hundreds of workers from the Brampton area.
“We are pleased to donate to the new Peel Memorial, which will improve health care for area residents”, said Sean Shabaga, Operations Manager for PCL in Toronto. “At PCL we recognize we carry a profound obligation to our community, and believe in contributing time, talent, and resources to the localities in which our employees live and work. It is satisfying to know that we are helping to build a facility that will address the most pressing health care issues affecting our region, providing a unique health and wellness approach to care, closer to home.”
