William Osler Health System Foundation began its
promotional Ambassador program in early 2006. Today, 27 Ambassadors
with very different professional and personal backgrounds use
their time and talents to represent the community on behalf of
the Foundation.
Our Ambassadors are individual donors, corporate
senior team members, local community leaders, and individuals
who simply believe in the importance of modern medical facilities
staffed by top medical practitioners. Counted among the group
are Cassie Campbell, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Ken Singh,
President of Atlas International and Marnie Richards, Executive
Director of Brampton Arts Council.
Osler Foundation Ambassadors communicate the message of the importance
of excellence in community health care in a powerful way. The
Foundation uses their images in promotional materials, such as
newspaper ads, billboard ads, on our website and in other media.
A select few Ambassadors may act as spokespeople for the Foundation.
Pictured in the poster at right is Cassie Campbell and Rick Nash.
All of our Ambassadors
have made a commitment to support the Here for you… caring
for you Community Campaign. This initiative will be instrumental
in raising funds and community awareness in support of the redevelopment of Peel Memorial Hospital and our current facilities Brampton Civic
Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital.
