2008 Osler Foundation Events
08~08~08: A Very Auspicious Date
Local lawyer and owner of Kipling Plaza, Jerry Faivish, knows how to mark a day! On August 08, every family who had a new baby arrive at Etobicoke General Hospital received a basket courtesy of the retailers at Kipling Plaza. For every baby born during those 24 hours, Mr. Faivish donated $100 to the hospital. As well, twelve lucky shoppers at the plaza’s Kipling Avenue (north of Rexdale Boulevard) location won gift certificates from the mall’s newest shop: Giant Tiger. To top it all off, Mr. Faivish stopped by Foundation offices in September to present a cheque for $1,200.
